Terms of Service

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BridgeMind platform, including the family app and BridgeMind Clinical. By creating an account or using BridgeMind, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility & Parental Consent

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to create a family account. By creating child profiles, you represent that you have the legal authority to consent on behalf of the children in your household. Clinical accounts are intended for licensed or credentialed professionals acting within their scope of practice.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. Applicable taxes are added where required. Prices may change with reasonable advance notice; existing subscriptions are honored at the then-current rate for the remainder of the paid period.

Free Trial

BridgeMind offers a 14-day free trial of select plans. No credit card is required to start a trial. A trial grants limited access and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you choose to subscribe.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancel anytime: You can cancel your subscription at any time from "Manage Subscription" in your account (powered by Stripe) or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals.
  • Monthly plans: When you cancel, you keep access through the end of your current billing period. No new charges occur after that. We do not issue prorated refunds for the unused portion of a monthly period, except where required by law.
  • Annual plans: You keep access through the end of your paid year. Refunds for the unused portion of an annual plan are issued at our discretion; contact support to request one.
  • One-time purchases (add-ons, workshops, consultations): are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by applicable law.
  • Trials: Because no payment is collected during a trial, no refund is owed when a trial ends.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse BridgeMind. Prohibited conduct includes sharing your account credentials, attempting to access another user's data without permission, using the service for any unlawful purpose, reverse-engineering or scraping the platform, or introducing malware. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Clinical Disclaimer

BridgeMind is a supplemental educational and engagement tool. It is not a medical device, a substitute for professional mental health care, a crisis intervention service, or a diagnostic tool. AI-generated content is supportive only and, for clinical accounts, must be reviewed by a licensed clinician before use in any clinical record. If you or someone you know is in crisis, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the United States) or your local emergency services.

Therapist Sharing & HIPAA

For clinical accounts, therapists using the data-sharing feature are responsible for obtaining any required Business Associate Agreements and for practicing within their licensing and regulatory obligations. BridgeMind provides a BAA on certain clinical tiers; contact support for details. Parents who share data with a therapist control what is shared and may revoke access at any time.

Intellectual Property

BridgeMind owns all rights to the platform, its design, and its content. You retain ownership of the family and child data you submit and grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the service for you.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, BridgeMind disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using BridgeMind at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe you have engaged in harmful conduct. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the Service Provider's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app and update the "Last updated" date above.
